Our Promise
If you follow one of our routes and it doesn’t deliver — tell us.
We’ll update it, rewrite it, or remove it.
We are a small team of beer-obsessed travelers who believe the best stories are told over a pint, not on a screen.
No corporate sponsors. No paid rankings. Just people who have personally walked the routes we describe, spilled beer on cobblestones in Prague at 3 a.m., argued about the perfect pour in Munich beer halls, and chased rare bottles through back alleys in Tokyo.
Epic Ales was born from one simple frustration: most beer travel content is either shallow lists (“10 best bars in Europe”) or dry encyclopedia entries. We wanted something different — real itineraries you can print, follow, and actually enjoy, written by people who live for the moment when the bartender slides over a fresh glass and says “this one’s just tapped”.
We chase experiences, not trends.
The quiet satisfaction of sitting alone in a Belgian abbey café with a Westvleteren 12.

The roar of a packed Temple Bar session when the fiddles hit full speed.
The first hazy IPA poured within sight of the Pacific in San Francisco.
The unexpected delight of discovering a tiny pulquería in Roma that’s been open since 1910.
We write for the person who would rather spend an extra hour in a beer garden than rush through a checklist. For the one who takes notes on bar coasters, asks locals “what do you drink when no tourists are watching?”, and comes home with more stories than souvenirs.
Every guide on Epic Ales is field-tested.
We visit, we drink, we get lost (sometimes on purpose), we come back and rewrite until the route feels honest and doable.
We time everything — when crowds peak, when the best light hits the Grand Place, when the last ferry leaves Refshaleøen.
We warn about the real things: cobblestones that murder your feet after 6 pints, closing hours that sneak up, cash-only spots in 2025.
We skip the sponsored fluff and highlight the places we would personally return to tomorrow.
No AI-generated lists. No recycled TripAdvisor blurbs. Just words from people who still get excited about a perfectly poured lager.

We’ll update it, rewrite it, or remove it.
Because this isn’t about being the biggest beer travel site.
It’s about being the one you trust when you want to turn a weekend into a memory worth telling for years.
Welcome to Epic Ales.
Let’s raise a glass to the next legendary pour — wherever it may be.
